We found it! A true representation of classic San Diego Roberto's style Mexican food in Phoenix. Great food, friendly staff, excellent portions, and good prices. Got a carne asada burrito and rolled tacos with Guacamole and cheese. Also got the carne asada bowl - something I haven't seen outside of the Claremont Mesa Roberto's. Everything was fantastic - including the sauces. My husband said the burrito took him right back to San Diego - it was all spot on. Highly recommended for any other ex-CA residents who want a taste of home without having to go back.

This is the best place for fast Mexican food, love their breakfast burritos especially the Machaca, and they make the best Menudo around too! Love you guys thank you

I'll be honest, when I first saw the prices, I thought, "Here we go again." More high-priced sub-par food. But I was wrong to assume, even if only in my mind. The portions are very generous. And the recipes taste pretty good, in my opinion. It didn't take very long to make the food either. The dining area is limited. Just be prepared for that. Best of all, the politeness and willingness to interact with the customer made me feel welcome. It isn't high-end quality dining, but this restaurant is an excellent choice for a hungry person to get some good take-out or a quick dine-in meal.
Amazing breakfast burritos! We ordered 3 burritos - ham, chorizo and steak. 35 after tax. All 3 were delicious! Their tortillas are awesome and their salsa bar is well stocked and delicious! I couldn't get enough of the picked carrots! The employee working at the time was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of their menu
